Welcome to The Wrens Nest
The Wren's Nest provides one of Wexford's best dinners.
With the emphasis on quality food, their delicious homemade dishes are just like what you get at home from mammy - or as close as you'll get anywhere! With all their excellent produce sourced locally, it's no wonder The Wren's Nest has sucha fantastic reputation for food.
Whatever you're after, you'll find it at The Wren's Nest, from sumptuous starters like the bacon and cheese melt on chips or freshly made vegetable soup or some of the big favorites, like the Beef Lasagne or Fresh John Dory, Caesar Salads, Paninis, Crostinis, Sandwiches, Baguettes... There is something for everyone, including the kids.
Food is served from Monday to Saturday until 3pm.
The pub and restaurant, on Wexford's quay, is ideally located for anyone in town and the friendly, helpful staff will ensure that you are very well looked after during your lunch hour and at every other time.
Centrally located near all the night clubs, and beside a large secure carpark, its cocktail and shot bar will kick start the night off before you hit the dance floor, or the bed. Designed in two halves, while the fast "try 'n' shift the mare" pace in one side might not suit everyone, the more relaxed "read the paper and talk" pace might do the trick for you?
The Wren's Nest is also one of Wexford's best sporting pubs, having strong links with the County football, hurling and camogie teams. The Wren's is associated directly with horse racing and anything to do with horses. It boasts, among it's fraternity, some of the best boxers to have ever come out of the County and others with achievements in swimming, shooting, rock-climbing and high altitude trekking.
